FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Here are some Frequently Asked Questions we get regarding the Friends & Neighbors Program:
MEMBERSHIP

+How do I join the program?

Step 1 - Click Register Now where you will be asked to create a username, password and provide your email address.
Step 2 - You will receive an email confirming your registration and a link to complete your Membership Survey.
Step 3 - Upon completing the survey, you will receive your enrollment confirmation email within 24 hours.

+How old do I have to be to join?

You must be 18 years or older to join the program.

+What if I have children who might be interested in participating?

You must be 18 years or older to enroll; however, you may receive invitations for your children to participate with your consent .Click on the Parents Information tab for more details.

+Can there be more than one person in the household who can join the program?

Yes, absolutely! We encourage all family members over the age of 18 to enroll. Keep in mind that each person must provide a unique email address when completing Step 1 of the registration process, and then must complete the Membership Survey.

+Does it cost anything to be a Friends & Neighbors member?

No, there is absolutely no cost associated with being a member of the program.

+What should I do if I no longer want to participate in the program?

Log in and click on Unsubscribe at the bottom of the page.

+Can I join the program if I live outside of the US?

Sorry, but at this time, we are unable to invite those who live outside of the United States to be a member of the Friends & Neighbors Program.

+Is my personal information shared?

Your information will be shared as in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
STUDY PARTICIPATION

+How do I participate in studies?

All invitations to studies will be sent by email. However, check your Personal Home Page for other opportunities under the Activities section. For more information, click on the Program Details tab on the Home Page.

+How often can I participate in studies?

You are invited to respond to every invitation we send out for each study. You will be contacted by email to confirm your participation.

+Why have I not received invitations to participate in studies?

First, make sure our emails are not being routed to your junk/spam folder. Be sure to add us to your safe list to ensure our emails are received. Please be patient, invitations to surveys are sent based on specific study criteria. Also, log in from time to time to check your Personal Home Page for opportunities to participate.

+Will I receive compensation to participate in studies?

After the close of a study, an honorarium will be given as a token of our appreciation.


+What do I do if I have a question about the study in which I'm participating?

All contact information regarding study-related questions will be included in the study materials you receive, either by email or in the study kit sent to your home.

+I have been part of the Friends & Neighbors Program for years. Do I have to enroll in this program as well? How is this different?

We are the same exact program you have enjoyed for years, but with a fresh, new look. We ask that existing members re-enroll in the program to continue membership. You will still receive invitations to studies via email, but our new website will make it easier to update information, refer a friend, and may also offer new, exciting opportunities and studies in which to participate. We encourage our members to pass this information on to their own personal friends and neighbors.

All current members of our Friends & Neighbors program will be contacted via email to re-enroll by completing a short, updated Membership Survey. You must re-enroll to enjoy continued membership and receive invitations to studies.

+I have been part of the Employee Pool for years.  Do I have to enroll in this program as well? How is this different?

We are the same exact program you have enjoyed for years, but with a fresh, new look. We ask that existing members re-enroll in the program to continue membership. You will still receive invitations to studies via your J&J email address, but our new website will make it easier to update information, refer a friend, and may also offer new, exciting opportunities and studies in which to participate. We encourage employees to pass this information on to fellow employees, as well as their own personal friends and neighbors.

All current members of our employee testing program will be contacted via email to re-enroll by completing a short, updated Membership Survey. You must re-enroll to enjoy continued membership and receive invitations to studies.

Employees must use their J&J email address to enroll and participate.

+I work at Johnson & Johnson as a contractor. Am I eligible to join?

Yes, whether you are a permanent Johnson & Johnson employee or a contractor, consultant or other associate or colleague, and you have a J&J email address, you are able to join. Please enroll as an employee and provide your J&J email address.

+I may have friends or relatives who are interested in participating in a study for which I received an invitation. Can I forward them the email invitation I received?

Although you are not able to forward a specific study invitation to a friend, we welcome you to encourage friends to join the Friends & Neighbors program using the Refer a Friend tab after logging in.

+If I have not been able to participate as often as I would have liked, will I be taken out of the program?

We understand that people are busy and may not be able to take the time to participate in studies.  We will not take you out of the program unless you ask to Unsubscribe.

+What should I do if I don’t receive my Prepaid Visa® Card after I’ve finished a study?

For home use tests, these cards are usually mailed out within 3-5 weeks of the study completion. Keep in mind that we have to  wait for everyone to complete the study and this may take several weeks. If you have not received it within a reasonable amount of time, please check your study paperwork and contact the study manager referencing the study number.

+What if I forgot my password or have trouble logging on?

Just click on "Forgot password?" on the Home page.
